This looks like a very compelling argument. Except:

- Sutskever hopes the LLM will learn: the model of the world from human projection of the world.

- What is more likely happening is the LLM with learn: the model of human projection of the world.

That is a HUGE difference.

Checkland's SSM is not so different from the "hard" SE approach that IMO has a much better understanding of the word #system:
"An integrated composite of #people, #products, and #processes that provide a capability to satisfy a stated #need or objective."

Just finished reading "Architecture, constraints, and behavior" by JC Doyle and M Csete and was a bit disappointed the authors don't recognize that the "bowtie/hourglass protocols that create the layering" are in fact the information flow that is "folded" in a control hierarchy.
